After walking in runways for heavyweight designers, including John Galliano and Jean Paul Gaultier and gracing the covers of 14 magazines last year alone including an ad campaign for a Dutch push-up bra, FASHION’S man of the moment Andrej Pejic is shooting advertisement campaign for a lingerie brand as posing in a bright blue bikini on a New York rooftop. The Bosnian-born 20-year-old Andrej Pejic was born with high cheekbones, plump lips and a flawless complexion. He was discovered by a talent scout while working at a McDonald’s as a teenager. Standing at 6-foot 1-inch, Andrej Pejics shines in the fashion industry with long white blonde hair and bright blue eyes’ which draws him admiring glances even from men.
Andrej Pejic, who born on 28 August 1991 in Tulza in Bosnia and Herzegovina to a Serbian mother and Croatian father, has taken the modelling world by storm 2011 thanks to his extreme androgynous look. The 20-year-old is so in demand in 2012 and even chosen to model for a female lingerie campaign

Andrej Pejic once told Grazia magazine about his measurement, ‘To do womenswear I have to be disciplined. My waist has gone from 29 to 25 inches, my hips are 35 inches’. In the behind-the-scenes photo, Pejic’s make-up is being applied after a shoot.

Despite being on the top of his career at the moment, life was not that easy for Andrej Pejic. The model spent much of his childhood living in a Serbian refugee camp before his family fled the country and moved to Melbourne.
Andrej Pejic once admitted that from early age, he showed off qualities thought of as traditionally feminine. He used to prefer Barbie dolls over toy cars, hang out with girls and be busted for stealing makeup.
French photographer Sebastien Micke, who has photographed transgender models, says that ‘Andrej’s got this thing that supermodels have: how to pose in front of the camera. It’s just natural’.
